The problem
The starting point was an idea and a deadline. There was no existing system to extend, which removes a lot of constraints and adds one: everything — the interface, the logic, the hosting, the domain — has to be decided and built inside the same window.
What we built
A customer-facing web app with a guided input flow rather than a bare form, because the people using it would be entering something they only half understood and a blank field would have stopped them.
Mobile-first throughout — the expected device was a phone, so the phone layout was the design rather than a narrowed version of the desktop one. Deployment into a live production environment was part of the two weeks, not a step afterwards.
How it landed
It went live inside the window, in front of real users. This is the pattern behind how we start: a working slice deployed into a real environment inside a couple of weeks tells you far more about whether a build is worth doing than a longer document would.
